In this new building in Alta Valtellina, the project focused on the use of a unique material: old fir wood worn by the sun.
This wood, recovered and processed, bears the signs of time and weathering, which give it a unique texture and colouring. All the furniture, wall coverings and interior doors were made from this material.
The final effect is that of an environment with a strong, lived-in character, where each surface tells a story. The choice of such a special wood has created a home that stands out for its strong personality and visual link with the local building tradition, while fitting into a modern architectural context.
