Located in Alta Valtellina, DF House is a renovation project that emphasised the warmth and materiality of wood.
The intervention included the complete covering of the walls and floors, as well as the realisation of all custom-made furnishings. The wood chosen for this project is old fir, a material that carries with it a history and gives the rooms a strong and cosy character.
The wood's veining and colour shades are the protagonists of the spaces, creating visual continuity between the different areas of the house. The craftsmanship is evident in every detail, from the joints of the furniture to the surface finishes, for a result that combines traditional Alpine aesthetics and modern living comfort.
